Lego_Capt Interview

LegoCapt Interview.jpg

This week I have @lego_capt who has such an awesome collection of photos in my opinion.

Their most recent posts with the Lego Mario mushroom really show just how creative they are when setting up these photos. Especially using the mushroom to blend into the surroundings in a way that makes sense! You can really see how they make it seem like the Lego belongs there by looking at my favourite photo where the frog is carrying the mushroom in their wheel barrow

They also use motionloop to edit their photos to make them come alive. And not too much either. But just enough to really make it look like a living photo! A good example of this are the posts showcasing the different DC Lego minifigs and my personal favourite, is when Emmet is using the bulldozer and they edited it as if dirt was flying from behind 😁. I hope to some day be able to use motionloop as good as this for my own photos.

Looking back at their first posts in December, they have really come a long way and I look forward to see how much they grow in the future!!! πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ‡

I feel like this was an awesome interview to do and I am very happy to have met @lego_capt and learned all about their journey!! I hope you enjoyed the this as well.

I hope you all enjoy the interview below and please please visit their Instagram account and go through some of their awesome posts!! It is really worth your time I'm my opinion!

Question 1 : How long have you been doing Lego photography and what got you into it?

Less than a year. I like to build lego but photography is taking so much of my time. I don’t know anything about photography πŸ˜‚ so I just move stuff around till a photo looks nice. I find that moving the lego from the shelf and coming up with an idea is the longest part in the whole phase.
